Quantity Surveyor 

The UK Civils Business is looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join our Dawsons Corner project in Leeds. Working alongside the Project Director, the role will be working within & assisting the commercial & construction team to ensure a successful project is delivered, while maintaining relationships, maximising commercial returns and manage risk. The team are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking to make a step up to Senior Quantity Surveyor in the near future. 

Key Responsibilities include:
- Preparing tenders, analysing, selecting appropriate s/cs, negotiation & finalise s/c orders, financial & commercial management of s/cs to Final Account completion.
- Managing and reporting of forecasts, target, reconciliations, site records, document control, variation reporting, valuations, assisting in the site records & document control
- Liaise with & commercially influence/challenge site management team whilst maintaining & protecting JSS commercial & contractual entitlement
- Manage & oversee AQS & TQS, checking & taking responsibility for their work & sign-off SMM/measurement issues

We are currently responsible for multiple projects across the Dublin region and are continuing to grow and develop new projects with long-term, stable, career development opportunities.

You will have:
  • 3+ years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor in civil projects
  • A relevant 3rd level qualification
  • 1+ years’ experience in report writing, forecast planning and engaging with clients and senior leaders
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
