Ipsos MORI MediaCell provides passive audience and media measurement. Our solutions challenge the established business models offering greater scale for better value, enabling clients to understand their consumers, whether in terms of their cross media consumption or exposure to advertising.
MediaCell is our TV and Radio meter in the form of a smartphone application. It passively captures viewing and listening, enabling minute-by-minute reporting of audiences across media.
We are a small dynamic team building and supporting a core product within the suite of Audience Measurement applications that are used across the Ipsos network.
As our reach and number of projects is continually expanding, we have reached the point where we need to expand the team to especially focus on developing the devops and support side of our offering, and this is where we need some new ideas, passion and dedication.

The role…

You will primarily be working on Ipsos’ proprietary audience measurement software, so all software-specific training will be provided. However, background knowledge of SQL, Windows server, networking, JSON, HTML, database management or audience measurement will be an asset.
  • Become an integral and valuable member of this high calibre team delivering and supporting our passive audience measurement solution to key clients
  • You will be trained to use Ipsos proprietary solution and you will participate in the deployment in new projects 
  • Ensuring that the end-to-end process is set-up to run as smoothly as possible. After further training and with support, you will be required to detect and recover from issues that occur
  • Running regular quality control checks across the process chain and implementing new solutions as and when required
  • Working with  the rest of the team during the building phase in setting up new deployments of the technology in various projects around the world  – configuring settings, responding to issues raised by local teams
  • Providing regular progress reports to the management team and provide KPIs where necessar
  • Ensuring that project documentation, training manuals and management tools are all kept up to date
  • Execute tests on new versions / analyse system performances / suggests improvements
  • Hands on role on a proprietary sophisticated processing platform

What do I need to bring with me?

  • Excellent capabilities in understanding data processing and data management techniques
  • Experience in testing/deployment of complex data processing solutions
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Accurate and high attention to detail
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise tasks successfully
  • Excellent teamworking and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Knowledge of iOS and Android platforms
  • Hands on approach and mind set 
  • Technical knowledge on the following will be an advantage
  • Basic level of computer literacy (SQL, Windows server)
  • Basic understanding of Networking
  • Knowledge of Jira/Confluence
