You’ll be helping to grow our consumer & B2B qualitative business and ensuring that we deliver market leading research -answering our client’s business questions with insights that create impact.

The role:

This is an opportunity for an expert in communications development, to help build and grow the practice area and develop our offer with your entrepreneurial flair.

We are seeking a qual researcher who wants to step into the limelight and make a real difference in our branded communications and advertising business –creative or media agency experience a bonus. We need someone who has a deep understanding of the creative development process, starting with early stage, and can speak with communications agencies in their own language.

You need to be skilled at client handling, from client pitches through to delivering with impact and gravitas.

What will I be doing?

  • Account management with a focus on developing existing client relationships and fostering new relationships
  • Acting as the main point of contact with clients on project and account related matters, whilst managing projects so that they are delivered within budget
  • Delivering the end to end qual research from set-up, design and moderation of projects (UK and global), with accountability for the management of resources & workloads across the team
  • Involvement in qualitative moderation of UK studies, as well as management of global studies
  • Responsible for leading and participating in brainstorming sessions on thought leadership & client growth strategy and encouraged to contribute or lead on upcoming initiatives to socialise our brand with clients
  • Shape our clients’ business objectives by interpreting, analysing and synthesising research data into meaningful stories
  • Building capability within the team, identifying, coaching and nurturing star performers
  • Identifying opportunities and contributing to making Ipsos MORI ‘more famous’, e.g. press releases, publications, client events, appearing at conferences, etc.

What do I need to bring with me?

•A genuine interest in brand and commsand an enthusiasm in keeping up-to-date with the latest developments in this space

•Previous research experience within creative development

•Experience with digital qualitative methodologies is highly desirable

•Experience and confidence in handling & developing business with clients

•The ability to work creatively and think commercially. Good storytelling skills are essential, as well as a working style that is flexible, innovative and analytical

•Strong interpersonal skills, the ability to communicate clearly with others (verbal & written), whilst coaching junior team members

•Solid project management, delegation and planning skills, good at multi-tasking

•Good organisational skills, attention to detail and satisfaction in going the extra mile when delivering work

•An independent self-starter. You stay cool under pressure and contribute to our very positive & fun office culture!

•Proficient in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
