The role…
You will be dedicated to helping us grow our no. 1 client, leading a team of researchers to deliver a multi-country tracking programme. You will be a natural leader, build great relationships, be comfortable with big data sets, and adept at  balancing ‘client first’ principles with tight commercial objectives.
  • Primarily focused on end-to-end programme delivery, from set-up, design and execution to insight and optimisation;
  • Providing a strategic day-to-day Director lead for the client and a manager, coach and mentor to the team;
  • Thinking like a client and putting yourself in the shoes of key decision makers, helping them anticipate business questions and how research can address them;
  • Retaining a passion for insight. Squeezing the juice from the data and integrating other sources to provide impactful analysis, stories and presentations around business questions;
  • Critical thinking and superior client engagement skills – you need to be able to deliver commercial narratives in a concise and impactful manner, tailoring your approach to the needs of diverse audiences;
  • Having a commercial eye, keeping the programme to scope and identifying organic opportunities for growth;
  • Managing resource across your team, and working with the operational teams to find efficiencies;
  • Going the extra mile. Looking for ways to add value and working with other teams and service lines to bring the best of Ipsos to the client;
  • Keeping the team motivated and the client onside, maintaining our staff and client satisfaction scores.

What do I need to bring with me?
  • We’re looking for someone who thrives on being on a fast-paced, large client account, with a proven, strong track record working in a research agency in a quantitative role ;
  • The desire to contribute to important work for the health of society, helping our client convert cigarette smokers to reduced risk products;
  • Demonstrate a strong commercial drive and understanding of the factors which contribute to business success (revenue & profitability). Working closely with the Directors in the team, you’ll contribute to the development of and be responsible for delivering elements of the business plan;
  • Experience in building great, trust-based relationships with clients beyond the transactional, demonstrating a genuine interest in them and their business issues;
  • Good knowledge and experience of working with longitudinal data and, ideally, experience across a range of studies covering different business needs;
  • A passion for uncovering an insight and always thinking “so what?”, “what should the client do with this insight?”, “what impact would it have on the client’s business?”;
  • A hands-on attitude and empathy, to be a role model and lead by example; you are easy to work with and have time for others, enjoying coaching and mentoring.
