Role Purpose
Reach Packaging, as part of Reach Group, is a distributor of packaging products to food and fashion retailers. Our customer base includes local coffee shops, take aways and fashion retailers as well as nationally recognised brands in both food, grocery and fashion.

Our Business Development Executive is responsible for maintaining long term relationships with existing accounts and building new customer relationships within Reach Packaging.

Role Responsibilities (Overview)
  • Maximise sales opportunities for Reach Packaging
  • Forge strong relationships with customers through regular site visits/meetings
  • Manage any account queries in a timely manner
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales plan that will increase market share/profitability
  • Acquire a thorough understanding of what the customer wants and how Reach Packaging can deliver (e.g. new product innovation) 
  • Collect competitor data and market trends and feed back to line manager
  • Stock Management- ensure stock levels (if applicable) are managed proactively and responding to customer demand. Maintain optimal stock holding in line with agreements
  • Promote the customer use of our digital order platform
  • Prepare regular reports of progress, pipeline opportunities and sales forecasts to head office
  • Represent business at trade shows and exhibitions
  • Liaise with Sales support team weekly to assist in proactive account management
Experience & Qualifications (Minimum Experience & Essential Knowledge)
  • Proven experience as Business Development Executive
  • Experience in account management and providing solutions based on customer needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organisational levels
  • Ability in problem-solving and negotiation.
  • Benefit - 2 years’ experience in packaging sector
